Job title: Truck dispatcher

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Salary: $28.00 – $29.00/hour for 30 – 40 hours per Week

Position Available: 01

Job Type: Permanent employment, full-time

Anticipated start date: ASAP

 

Job Brief:

Ferndale Transport is looking to hire a Truck dispatcher to complete our team for our growing business with loads of opportunity.

 

Job Duties:

• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
• Follow-up on issues with work orders
• Keep track of shipments
• Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
• Maintain vehicle operator work records.
• Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
• Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: On-the-job training will be provided
