Tasks for a general cook:
- Preparing and cooking meals ( for groups, individuals and customers with allergies or intolerances)
- Planning the menu while determining food portions
- Estimating the amount of food needed and the costs
- Monitoring food supplies while ordering when there is a shortage
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Training staff in preparing, cooking and handling the food
