As a business development officer, you will perform all or some of the following duties:
· Develop policies
· Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
· Plan development projects
· Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
· Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles
· Conduct analytical marketing studies
· Evaluate customer service and store environments
· Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects
· Develop marketing strategies
Work Setting: Various Locations
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 35 hours / week)
Compensation: CAD $79,600 annually including an annual Sales Commission of $8400 and bonus of S4,320 on 90 % achievement or an annual sales commission of $10,200 & bonus of $4,800 on 100% achievement
