Defender Security Group Ltd. is looking for a Security Guard Supervisor who can start as soon as possible.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time

Salary: $ 37.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week

Job Requirements: Must be able to supervise 5-10 people, effective interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication. One who is team player, judgmental, initiative, organized, client focused, flexible and reliable.

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Security Guard Licence

Job Duties: Schedule work, Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, Prepare and submit progress and other reports, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers, Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, May Perform same duties as workers supervised, Establish work schedules and procedures, Organizing the work schedule of guards, assigning duties and areas to cover, Instruct orientation, Review performance and instruct on any corrective actions, Meets regularly with proper manager for status updates, Addresses any potential problems.

Experience Required: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
